About Me
I am Mauricio but most people call me Mau.
Working with images has become a way for me to understand what’s behind them; the people, the process, and sometimes even myself.
I move between roles depending on what the project needs. Sometimes I’m behind the camera, other times I’m shaping the light, building the frame, solving problems, or simply observing. I’m drawn to the in-between moments, where ideas are still forming and things don’t have clear answers yet.
I’m not interested in labels or fixed titles. I prefer to stay fluid. Adapting, trusting my instincts, creating work that asks questions rather than just answering them. I collaborate with brands, agencies, and individuals to bring ideas to life. from concept to execution.
Everything I do is rooted in that approach, whether it’s a photograph, a film, a story, or a commercial project.
